Tianjin Urban Construction Management Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education for national enrollment.

The college currently has three major professional groups of architecture, energy, and urban management. Based on this, it has developed 29 related majors such as new energy vehicles, mechanical and electrical engineering, and urban management services. Key majors such as the “School Enhancement of Professional Service Industry Capability Construction Project”, Tianjin’s “Higher Vocational Colleges’ Construction Project to Enhance the Level of Running Schools”, and Tianjin City’s “Higher Vocational Colleges’ High-Quality Professional Group Docking Competitive Industry Construction Project”. It has the vocational education training demonstration base of the Ministry of Education, and the only BIM skill level examination training center in Tianjin vocational college authorized by the China Academy of Building Research.
In recent years, teachers and students of the college have participated in various competitions at all levels and have won many awards and achieved outstanding results. In 2016, Huang Tingting's young teacher team of architectural decoration engineering technology won the first prize of the National Vocational College Informatization Teaching Competition, and the Wu Kailun student team won the championship of the 9th National College "BIM" Calculation Contest.
As the construction unit of Tianjin's "13th Five-Year Plan" to improve school-running capabilities and "domestic first-class high-quality school", the college continuously interprets "international vision, school-enterprise win-win, systematic construction, systematic training, lifelong service, and collaborative innovation. As the largest state-owned pillar industry in the energy industry in North China, Tianjin Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. has provided good jobs for outstanding graduates of the college. The college has also established long-term cooperative relations with 240 enterprises across the country, providing graduates with broad employment prospects. In recent years, the employment rate of graduates has remained above 98%. Since the establishment of the institute, it has trained and delivered a large number of high-quality technical talents for the energy, construction, electric power, transportation, urban management and other industries across the country and Tianjin.
