Tianjin Agricultural College was founded in 1976. In 2001, approved by the Tianjin Municipal Government, Tianjin Urban and Rural Economics School was merged into Tianjin Agricultural College. In 1982, he was granted the right to confer a bachelor's degree, and in 2006 he was granted the right to confer a master's degree. In 1996, it passed the first batch of undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation by the State Education Commission.
