Shanghai Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College

Shanghai Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time general institution of higher learning approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education in 2001. Relying on large-scale enterprise groups such as automobiles, ports, rail transit, etc., the college is backed by the industry, facing the market, and opening majors with the characteristics of the integrated transportation industry. The college has been awarded as Shanghai Civilized Unit, Shanghai Characteristic Higher Vocational College Construction Excellent Unit, Shanghai Quality University Construction Unit, Shanghai Safe and Civilized Campus, Shanghai "Double First Class" Construction College Cultivation Unit, Shanghai Municipality for 18 consecutive years The training base for high-skilled talents recognized by the Social Affairs Bureau, the training base for the 46th Shanghai World Skills Competition and the training base for nationally-skilled talents (automobile application and maintenance major) of the Ministry of Education. The college has won 2 second prizes for national teaching achievements for two consecutive years; 1 first prize and 1 second prize for teaching achievements in transportation vocational education; 3 special prizes for teaching achievements in Shanghai, 2 first prizes, and second prizes 2 items.



The college has a total of 27 majors and 12 high-level and vocational majors. Rail transit and automobile application and maintenance technology are "double first-class" majors; Shanghai Automobile Application and Maintenance Open Training Center and Shanghai Modern Logistics Open Training Center have been established , Customs Declaration and International Freight Forwarding Training Center, Shanghai "Automobile Application Technology" Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute and Shanghai University Students "Logistics Management" Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute. The college has successively carried out school-enterprise cooperation with Shanghai SIPG, Toyota, Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Benz, rail transit and other well-known enterprises. In December 2007, the college, as one of the initiators, established the Shanghai Transportation Logistics Vocational Education Group in the first batch in Shanghai. At present, there are 68 member units. It has established a high-quality platform for the college to further develop close school-enterprise cooperation. Welcomed by industry enterprises, the employment rate of previous graduates has reached more than 98%. The college has a team of full-time teachers with professional leaders and teachers with senior professional titles as the backbone, and 90% of the teachers with double teacher quality.
