Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College

Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College is the largest public higher vocational college in Shanghai. It is formed by the merger of the former Shanghai Urban Management Vocational and Technical College and Shanghai Jianfeng Vocational and Technical College, and integrated into the academic education part of Shanghai Trade Union Management Vocational College. The school has a long history of running a school, and its predecessor can be traced back to the Shanghai Amateur Civil Engineering and Architecture Institute founded in 1956.


   The school has three campuses in Fengxian, Yangpu and Baoshan, covering an area of 753 mu with a total construction area of 222,000 square meters. The Shanghai Construction Engineering School in Minhang is an affiliated secondary school of the college. There is a continuing education college in the city center.


   There are nearly 12,000 full-time college students in the school, recruiting students from 24 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country. There are about 700 faculty and staff in the school, among which 99 are associate professor or above, 6 are city-level teaching teachers, and 22 are winners of the Shanghai Municipal Education Award.
