Inner Mongolia University of Technology is located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and its predecessor was Suiyuan Advanced Industrial School founded in 1951. In 1958, the Inner Mongolia Institute of Technology was established with the support of Tsinghua University and others.
