Tian Xuejun holds video meeting with Cuban Ambassador

On June 2, Vice Minister of Education and Director of the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO Tian Xuejun held a video meeting on the topic of cooperation to control the epidemic, with Cuba’s Ambassador to China Carlos Miguel Pereira Hernández. Tian spoke highly of the mutual support and close cooperation between China and Cuba on various bilateral platforms amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Pereira conveyed a message from the Director of the Cuban National Commission for UNESCO, stating Cuba’s willingness to learn from China’s experiences in online education and post-pandemic education. The two sides also exchanged views on further enhancing educational cooperation and exchange and consolidating and expanding coordination on the UNESCO platform.
