Hebei Vocational College of Politics and Law (Hebei Politics and Law Management Cadre College) is a public institution directly under the Provincial Party Committee and a provincial public school managed by the Political and Legal Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China. The college is the same age as the Republic and has a glorious history of running schools. The predecessor of the college was Hebei Construction College. It was established in July 1949 to meet the needs of economics, construction, law and other talents after the liberation of the country. The first dean was concurrently served by Comrade Yang Xiufeng, chairman of the Hebei Provincial People's Government. In April 1954, it was rebuilt as the Hebei Provincial Political and Law Cadre School. In November 1983, it was rebuilt as Hebei Political and Law Management Cadre College. In April 2001, it was transformed into Hebei Vocational College of Politics and Law to hold general higher vocational education, and retain the functions of "Hebei Politics and Law Management Cadre College", and continue to undertake the tasks of adult college education, job training and continuing education after university. The college is located in Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang City, covering an area of 1,236 acres. There are currently three campuses. The school headquarters is located at No. 569 Youyi North Street, the North Campus is located at No. 77 Xuefu Road, and the East Campus is located at No. 41 Xuefu Road.
