Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University

Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University is a provincial public undergraduate vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education and transformed from the merger of Hebei University of Technology City College and Chengde Petroleum Technical College. Hebei University of Technology (the national "double first-class" construction college) and Chengde Petroleum Technical College (the national "double high plan" construction college) have the same roots and the same origin. The City College of Hebei University of Technology is an advanced collective of the national education system, a national model college for education reform and innovation, and one of China's top ten independent colleges. Chengde Petroleum Technical College is a national civilized unit and a national key construction school for demonstrative higher engineering colleges of the Ministry of Education. It has repeatedly ranked first in the country on the competitiveness rankings of higher vocational colleges and the first in Hebei Province. The school has successively won the honorary titles of "Top 50 Employment", "Top 50 International Influence", "Top 50 Teaching Resources" and "Top 50 Educational Achievements" in the national higher vocational colleges. The school covers an area of more than 1,000 acres and currently has more than 12,000 full-time students. The overall employment rate of the school’s graduates in 2020 will reach 98.46%, and the admission rate of the special applicants will be nearly 50%.
