Cangzhou Normal University is located in Cangzhou City, which is on the coast of the Bohai Sea and the canal in the east of Hebei Province. Adhering to the school motto of "Mingde, Knowing, Knowing and Acting", after 59 years of construction and development, the school has become a major educational subject, covering Local and applied general undergraduate colleges and universities with multiple disciplines such as liberal arts, sciences, engineering, management and art.
school was founded in 1958. Changed its name to Cangzhou Normal School in 1962, merged into Botou Normal School in 1970, rebuilt Cangzhou Normal School in 1976, upgraded to Cangzhou Teachers College in 1984, and merged into Cangzhou Teachers College in May 1991. In September 2001, Cangzhou Normal School, Cangzhou Teachers' Training School, and Cangzhou Agricultural Machinery Engineering School were merged into Cangzhou Teachers Technical College. In March 2010, it was upgraded to an undergraduate-level college and renamed "Cangzhou Normal College." Obtained the right to confer a bachelor's degree in 2014.
The planned land for the school is 1028 acres. The planned construction of 713 acres has been completed, the affiliated middle school covers an area of 62.8 acres, and the government has newly approved 249 acres of construction land. There are 871 faculty members, including 607 full-time teachers, 233 associate senior titles, and 405 masters and doctors.
