Cangzhou Normal University is located in Cangzhou City, which is on the coast of the Bohai Sea and the canal in the east of Hebei Province. Adhering to the school motto of "Mingde, Knowing, Knowing and Acting", after 59 years of construction and development, the school has become a major educational subject, covering Local and applied general undergraduate colleges and universities with multiple disciplines such as liberal arts, sciences, engineering, management and art.
school was founded in 1958. Changed its name to Cangzhou Normal School in 1962, merged into Botou Normal School in 1970, rebuilt Cangzhou Normal School in 1976, upgraded to Cangzhou Teachers College in 1984, and merged into Cangzhou Teachers College in May 1991. In September 2001, Cangzhou Normal School, Cangzhou Teachers' Training School, and Cangzhou Agricultural Machinery Engineering School were merged into Cangzhou Teachers Technical College. In March 2010, it was upgraded to an undergraduate-level college and renamed "Cangzhou Normal College." Obtained the right to confer a bachelor's degree in 2014.
The planned land for the school is 1028 acres. The planned construction of 713 acres has been completed, the affiliated middle school covers an area of 62.8 acres, and the government has newly approved 249 acres of construction land. There are 871 faculty members, including 607 full-time teachers, 233 associate senior titles, and 405 masters and doctors. It has a group of outstanding teachers such as experts with special allowances from the State Council, experts with special allowances from the provincial government, and famous teaching teachers in Hebei Province. There are 130 external teachers, and well-known scholars are hired as visiting professors.
The school currently has 18 secondary colleges, and currently enrolls 38 undergraduate majors and 26 junior colleges, covering nine disciplines including law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, management, and art. The chemistry major of our school is the first batch of provincial-level professional comprehensive reform pilot majors of the Department of Education; the chemistry experimental teaching center and the biological experimental teaching center are the experimental teaching demonstration centers of colleges and universities in Hebei Province. There is a provincial-level off-campus practical education base for college students, and one Provincial-level university student innovation and entrepreneurship incubator. There are 2 provincial quality courses. He has won 2 second prizes and 6 third prizes for teaching achievements in colleges and universities in Hebei Province.
Our school has two provincial key development disciplines, applied chemistry and literature, and 21 scientific research platforms including Chinese Wushu Training Base, Qiyue Education Research Center, Hebei Green Chemistry Research Center, Hebei Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Base. In the past three years, 69 provincial and ministerial projects have been completed, including 1 National Social Science Fund Project, 2 Humanities and Social Sciences General Projects of the Ministry of Education, 3 Natural Science Foundation Projects of Hebei Province, and 15 Philosophy and Social Science Fund Projects of Hebei Province; 21 horizontal topics have been completed. Teachers have published more than 800 papers at home and abroad, including 102 domestic core journals, 18 papers indexed by SCI, EI, A&HCI, ISTP; 49 books published and 40 textbooks. The school has 3 unique scientific research and education bases. The "Chinese Wushu Training Base" fully excavates and organizes the martial arts culture in Cangzhou, carries out international promotion and training of martial arts, and promotes the "Martial Arts on Campus" activity and martial arts grade evaluation. The "Wild Animal Rescue Center" undertakes wildlife rescue, epidemic source disease monitoring, bird ring log, wetland research, etc., and provides a large amount of monitoring data for national, provincial and municipal wildlife rescue.
