Founded in 2001, Sifang College of Shijiazhuang Tiedao University is an independent college that has been approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and confirmed by the Ministry of Education. Shijiazhuang Railway University
The predecessor is the Chinese People's Liberation Army Railway Engineering College. It was founded in 1950. It integrates military, ministries and local advantages. It has a profound historical and cultural heritage and distinctive school characteristics. It is a key backbone university in Hebei Province.
The college currently has two campuses with a campus area of more than 1,050 acres. The campus has an elegant environment, complete infrastructure, and advanced teaching equipment. It recruits students from 30 provinces (cities) across the country, with 10674 students. According to the needs of the country's economic and social development, the college has 10 departments, 2 teaching departments, 22 undergraduate majors, involving six disciplines: engineering, economics, management, law, literature, and art.
Relying on the high-quality educational resources of the Railway University, the college has basically established a relatively stable faculty team with both ability and political integrity, matching student-teacher ratio, reasonable professional-to-cumulative ratio, and relatively stable. The college actively promotes international cooperation and exchanges, and signed cooperation agreements with the University of Bridgeport, the University of Florida, and the University of Navarre in Spain. The college attaches great importance to the improvement of students' comprehensive quality, strengthens the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability, and cooperates with large state-owned enterprises to establish more than 90 social practice bases, of which two bases declared with Beijing Railway Bureau and Glodon Software Co., Ltd. Approved to be included in the first batch of off-campus practical education base construction projects for college students in Hebei Province.
The college adheres to the principle of moral education first and people-oriented education, and actively organizes college students to participate in various provincial and municipal professional competitions, cultural and sports competitions and second classroom activities to promote students' overall growth and talents. Outstanding results have been achieved in nationally professional competitions such as the calculation contest and the National Business School Skills Competition; he has won many awards in activities organized by the League Central Committee and the League Provincial Committee.

Relying on the high-quality educational resources of the Railway University, the main majors set up are closely related to the industry, and the graduates are well received by employers. The employment rate of the 2014 graduates reached 93.29%. Relying on the railway industry, the employment quality of graduates is good and the prospects are broad. The employment rate in various railway bureaus, China Railway, China Railway Construction and other units of the former Ministry of Railways has been above 60% over the years.
