Development history: The school has distinctive characteristics. Its predecessor, the China Environmental Management Cadre Institute, is known as the "Whampoa Military Academy" of the environmental protection system and the "green cradle" of environmental protection talents. The college was approved by the Ministry of Urban and Rural Construction and Environmental Protection in 1981 and was filed by the Ministry of Education. It is one of the earliest universities in my country to develop environmental education. It was approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2016. Officially upgraded to a full-time general application-oriented, technical skills-oriented undergraduate college. It is currently the only environmental undergraduate college in the country. It is a college jointly established by the People's Government of Hebei Province and the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
