Renmin University of China (Renmin University of China) is the first new formal university founded by the Communist Party of China. It is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university focusing on humanities and social sciences. It is directly under the Ministry of Education. Built. The predecessor of the school was North Shaanxi Public School, which was born in the war of resistance against Japan in 1937, and later North China United University, North University and North China University. On December 16, 1949, the eleventh political affairs meeting of the Central People's Government Administration Council adopted the "Decision on the Establishment of Renmin University of China" based on the suggestions of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. On October 3, 1950, Renmin University of China, which was merged and formed on the basis of North China University, held a grand opening ceremony and became the first new formal university founded by the People's Republic of China. Since its founding, Renmin University of China has always adhered to the leadership of the party, the guiding position of Marxism, and the service of the party and the people’s cause. The three highland school-running characteristics studied are known as "unique in the field of humanities and social sciences in my country", and have made important contributions to the development and prosperity of my country's philosophy and social sciences, and to the cause of socialist revolution, construction and reform. Since 1950, the country has established key universities, and Renmin University of China has been among them. Renmin University of China has long formed an all-round and multi-level school-running pattern with undergraduate education as the foundation, postgraduate education as the focus, and continuing education as the supplement, forming a discipline development system of "main liberal arts and capable science and engineering". In the national first-level discipline evaluation results announced by the Degree Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education in 2017, the total number of A-category disciplines was 14 including theoretical economics, applied economics, law, sociology, journalism and communication, statistics, and business. Renmin University of my country is an important humanities and social science data center, information center, and book publishing center in China. The school library has a collection of more than 4.367 million paper books and 4.5228 million e-books, as well as the "Liberal Arts Literature Information Center of the Ministry of Education". The Book and Newspaper Data Center of Renmin University of China is the earliest information provider engaged in the collection, sorting, editing, and publication of humanities and social science documents in New China. The data index is one of the four major literature retrieval indexes in China. Renmin University of China Press is the first university publishing house established after the founding of New China.
