Beijing Police College is a full-time general undergraduate college affiliated to the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau. The college was established in January 1984. Its predecessor was the Public Security School of the Public Security Bureau of the People's Government of Beiping City, which was founded in April 1949. It has a history of more than 60 years. In 2004, the college began to hold undergraduate education. The college is located in the Huyu Scenic Area, Nankou Town, Changping District, covering an area of 1,200 acres and a building area of 180,000 square meters. The road traffic management major of the college is taught at the Dongwei Road campus in Chaoyang District. The campus covers an area of 64 acres and the building area is 12,000 square meters.
