Beijing Vocational College of Labor and Social Security

Beijing Vocational College of Labor and Social Security is a full-time general higher education institution approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. The administrative department is the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the education department is the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. The college was established in 1985 and renamed as Beijing Labor and Social Security Vocational College in 2006. Its predecessor was Beijing Labor Management Cadre College and Beijing Planning Labor Management College. In 2010, it became a national backbone higher vocational college construction institution. In 2014 Passed the acceptance of the construction of the national backbone school organized by the Ministry of Education and was awarded "Excellent". In 2015, the senior service and management major was approved as the second host unit for the construction of the national teaching resource database. In 2019, it was selected as a national double university and a high-level vocational college with Beijing characteristics. The school, senior service and management major was selected as the first batch of Beijing’s characteristic high-level backbone majors, and the senior service and management major teaching team was selected as the “first batch of national vocational education teacher teaching innovation team” by the Ministry of Education, becoming a national human resource management major teaching resource The presiding unit of the library. The college has two campuses in the north and south, covering a total area of 268 acres. There are two departments including the Department of Labor Economics and Management, Department of People’s Livelihood and Welfare, Department of Urban Safety and Emergency Management, Department of Ideological and Political Basic Education, and Department of Basic Education for Through Training. There are nearly 20 majors in higher vocational education. The employment rate of college graduates has remained above 99% for many years, the employment rate of key majors is 100%, and the employment rate of professional counterparts is 94.47%. It has been rated as "Beijing District University Demonstration Employment Center" by Beijing. The college carries out high-end technical and technical talents through training programs. After receiving two years of high-quality high school education in Beijing Eleven Schools, students will receive three years of vocational education and go to Beijing University of Technology, Capital University of Economics and Business, Capital University of Medical Sciences and other universities to study for undergraduates.
