The Central University of Finance and Economics is a university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and Beijing. The school was founded on November 6, 1949. At the beginning of its establishment, it was under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance. It has gone through the development stages of the Central Taxation School, the Central School of Finance, the Central School of Finance and the Central School of Finance and Finance. In 1996, it was renamed the Central University of Finance and Economics. The school was transferred from the Ministry of Finance to the direct management of the Ministry of Education. The school covers a total area of 1,027,165 square meters, of which the South College Road campus covers an area of 14,1962 square meters, and the Shahe campus covers an area of 789,798 square meters.
