Huzhou Teachers College is a comprehensive full-time general higher education school. The history of the school can be traced back to the Third Union County Teachers Training Institute of Qiantang Road in 1916. Higher education began in 1958, and undergraduates began to be enrolled in 1994. In 1999, approved by the Ministry of Education, the former Huzhou Teachers College, Huzhou Teachers College and Huzhou Teachers' Training College merged to form Huzhou Teachers College. In 2000, the original Huzhou Health School was merged into Huzhou Teachers College.
