Zhejiang Wanli College is organized by Zhejiang Wanli Education Group. It is a provincial undergraduate university with 71 years of history. In 1999, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to become a new type of university that "public universities implement new management models and operating mechanisms", and was praised by education experts as "an exemplary practice of a modern university system with Chinese characteristics."


In 2004, the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China's first Sino-foreign cooperative university was established in 2004 with the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom; in 2005, it passed the evaluation of the undergraduate teaching level of the Ministry of Education with excellent results; in 2011, the school was approved as a master's degree by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council A pilot unit for degree postgraduate education, and became the chairman unit of the pilot unit alliance; in 2015, it became the “Zhejiang Province Application-oriented Construction Pilot Demonstration School”; in 2017, it became the “National Demonstration University for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform”; in 2018, in Germany Hamburg established an overseas campus of Zhejiang Wanli College.


The school is located in Ningbo, with a building area of 650,000 square meters, with campuses such as Qianhu and Huilong. The campus has beautiful scenery and complete teaching facilities.
