Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics is a finance and economics university with economics and management disciplines as the main body, and coordinated development of economics, management, literature, law, science, engineering, and art. The school is located in Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang province with beautiful scenery. The predecessor was the Zhejiang Finance Bank School founded in 1974. In 1987, it was approved by the former State Education Commission to establish Zhejiang Finance and Economics College. In 2006, he was awarded the excellent undergraduate teaching level evaluation by the Ministry of Education. In 2012, he was approved to serve the national special needs doctoral talent training program. In 2013, it was renamed Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
The school has three campuses in Shah, Wenhua and Chang'an, covering an area of 2,300 acres and a total construction area of 970,000 square meters. There are currently 15 colleges, 2 teaching departments, 1 independent college, and 51 research institutions, with the right to grant doctoral, master, and bachelor degrees, and the right to enroll foreign students, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students. The school adheres to the priority of improving the quality of talent training, actively promotes teaching reform, and continuously expands the proportion of students pursuing dual majors and dual degrees, and the proportion of outstanding students and students with special skills transferring to majors.
