Taizhou Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time college approved by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and sponsored by the Taizhou Municipal People's Government. The school has a long history of running schools. The predecessor was the Zhejiang Taizhou Agricultural School founded in 1937 and the Zhejiang Huangyan Normal School founded in 1921. The two schools were merged in June 2003 and were formally established in February 2007. The school is the construction unit of Zhejiang Province’s "Double High Plan" and the experimental school of the Vocational Education Institute of the Ministry of Education. Cultural base, advanced grass-roots party organization in Zhejiang colleges and universities, etc., won the first prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award and the first prize of Zhejiang Teaching Achievement Award for many times.
The school is located in Taizhou, "Shanhai Water City, Hehe Holy Land, and Manufacturing Capital", surrounded on three sides by the clear water of Yongning River, with superior ecological environment and convenient transportation. The campus covers an area of 525 acres, with a construction area of 220,000 square meters and a planned land area of 760 acres.
