Zhejiang Guangsha Construction Vocational and Technical University (hereinafter referred to as the school) is an undergraduate vocational school approved by the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the school was Zhejiang Guangsha Construction Vocational and Technical College. It was established on the basis of the former Jinhua Urban and Rural Construction School and Dongyang College of Zhejiang Radio and Television University. In April 2003, it was approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Government and officially established by the Ministry of Education. In December 2019, it was upgraded to an undergraduate-level vocational school approved by the Ministry of Education to carry out a pilot program of undergraduate-level vocational education. The school name is tentatively designated as Zhejiang Guangsha Construction Vocational and Technical College (undergraduate). In June 2020, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was officially renamed Zhejiang Guangsha Construction Vocational and Technical University.
