Taizhou Vocational and Technical College

Taizhou Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general college sponsored by the government. It is located in one of the birthplaces of China's private economy, an important manufacturing base in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, and a modern port city in the southeast coast—Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. The school was established in 1999; in May 2001, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province approved the establishment of Taizhou Vocational and Technical College; in 2003 and 2006, Zhejiang Taizhou Industrial School and Zhejiang Trade and Economics School were merged into organizations successively. In 2007, the school successfully passed the excellent evaluation of the talent training level of higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education; in 2012, the school became a "Zhejiang Demonstrative Higher Vocational College". The school has vigorously promoted the reform of education and teaching, and the quality of talent training has been steadily improved. It has established friendly cooperation and exchange relationships with more than 20 domestic and foreign universities or educational institutions in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.
