Taizhou Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general college sponsored by the government. It is located in one of the birthplaces of China's private economy, an important manufacturing base in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, and a modern port city in the southeast coast—Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. The school was established in 1999; in May 2001, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province approved the establishment of Taizhou Vocational and Technical College; in 2003 and 2006, Zhejiang Taizhou Industrial School and Zhejiang Trade and Economics School were merged into organizations successively.
