Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Economics and Trade is a full-time public higher vocational college organized by Zhejiang Supply and Marketing Cooperative. Its predecessors were Zhejiang Supply and Marketing School founded in 1979 and Zhejiang Supply and Marketing Cooperative Workers College founded in 1984. In 2018, with the approval of the Provincial Organization Office, the "Zhejiang Cooperative Economic Management College" was added to the Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Economics and Trade, and the management of "two brands and one team" was implemented. The school is located in Xiasha Higher Education Park, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, covering an area of 575 acres. At present, the school has 10 secondary colleges including the School of Information Technology, the School of Finance and Accounting, the School of Business Administration, the School of Applied Engineering, the School of International Trade, the School of Humanities and Tourism, the School of Cooperative Economics, the School of Public Education, the School of Marxism and the School of Continuing Education. .


The school is dominated by financial and commercial majors, with coordinated development of economics, literature, engineering, and management. A total of 30 higher vocational specialties or professional directions, 2 3+2 college-upgrading joint training majors and 1 undergraduate pilot major are set up. At present, there are more than 11,700 full-time students, more than 580 faculty members, 2 national outstanding teachers, 2 second-level professors, 3 provincial teaching teams, 1 provincial outstanding teacher, 1 provincial outstanding contribution young and middle-aged expert. There are 2 famous teaching teachers, 14 provincial-level professional leaders, 2 teachers selected for the Qianjiang Talent Funding Program, and 1 teacher selected for the Zhejiang Young Scientist Training Program. The school currently has two projects of “Central Finance Supports Higher Vocational Schools to Improve Professional Service Capabilities” in financial accounting and international trade and practice, two provincial key majors in chain operation management and e-commerce, nine provincial-level specialty majors, and two provincial-level specialties.
