The College of Science and Art of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University is a full-time general undergraduate independent college with the characteristics of textile, clothing, and art design, with the goal of training high-quality applied talents, and the coordinated development of multiple disciplines. The college began to recruit full-time undergraduates from Zhejiang Province in 2000. In 2004, it successfully passed the special inspection and confirmation of the education conditions and teaching work of the independent college by the Ministry of Education. In 2006, it began to run the school in Yuhang Cangqian, which is conducive to the rapid development of the college. , It is planned to relocate to Shangyu as a whole in September 2017. In 2016, the College’s Art and Design Experimental Teaching Center was approved as a key construction project of Zhejiang Province’s "Twelfth Five-Year" Advanced Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, and the two disciplines of Computer Science and Technology and Design were successfully approved as a first-class discipline B in the "Thirteenth Five-Year" Province kind.


Relying on Zhejiang Sci-Tech University's strong educational advantages for more than 100 years, it has set up majors according to the needs of economic and social development. There are currently 29 undergraduate majors involving science, engineering, art, economics, management, law, and literature, among which are provincial key majors. 1 and 3 provincial emerging specialty specialties. The college is based in Zhejiang and recruits students from more than 10 provinces (cities) across the country. There are more than 6000 students in school, more than 600,000 printed books in Chinese and foreign languages, 9 experimental centers (rooms), and Zhejiang undergraduate colleges.    The college adheres to the school-running idea of "standardize school running, improve quality, cultivate characteristics, and build brand", adhere to the strategy of strengthening the college with talents, and have a reasonable structure and strong faculty.   Students' extracurricular scientific, technological and cultural activities are rich and active, with a wide range of participation and good results.
