   Binjiang College of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is an independent college at the undergraduate level organized by Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine using the existing high-quality educational resources and in accordance with the new mechanism and new model. In January 2000, the college was formally established by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government Zhe Zhengfa [2000] No. 4 document, and began to enroll students in the autumn of the same year, and was included in the third batch of enrollment plans for Zhejiang colleges and universities. In November 2004, the college was resubmitted for approval and was confirmed by the Ministry of Education Gaohan [2004] No. 21 approval document.


   The school’s existing campus covers an area of 210 acres, and the building area of teaching and administrative buildings is 78,215 square meters. Based on the needs of economic construction and social development in Zhejiang Province, and guided by market demand, the college has set up 20 undergraduate majors in five disciplines including medicine, management, science, engineering, and literature. After 7 years of construction, the college has initially formed the school-running characteristics of "being market demand-oriented, relying on maternal resources, taking teaching quality as its life, and cultivating applied talents suitable for the local economic and social development of Zhejiang".
