Zhejiang Vocational College of Finance, located on the bank of the beautiful Qiantang River, No.118 Xueyuan Street, East District, Xiasha Higher Education Park, Hangzhou, covers an area of 612 acres, with a building area of 334,000 square meters, and 11,382 students. The predecessor of the school was the Zhejiang Finance Bank School established in 1975. In 1978, Zhejiang Finance Bank School was divided into Zhejiang Finance School and Zhejiang Bank School. In 1994, Zhejiang Bank School was rated as a national key technical secondary school. In 2000, Zhejiang Bank School was transferred to Zhejiang Province for management. In June of the same year, it was approved by the Provincial People's Government to prepare for the establishment of a higher vocational college. In 2002, Zhejiang Finance Vocational College was formally established with the approval of the Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education.
