Quzhou College is a full-time application-oriented general undergraduate college with work-oriented and multi-disciplinary coordinated development. The predecessor of the school was the Zhejiang Institute of Technology (Zhexi Branch of Zhejiang University of Technology) founded in 1985. It was upgraded and renamed as Quzhou College in March 2010 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2013, it was approved as a national college student innovation and entrepreneurship training program. In 2014, it was granted the right to confer a bachelor's degree. In December 2015, it was approved as a pilot demonstration school for application-oriented construction in Zhejiang Province. In February 2018, it successfully passed the qualification assessment of the undergraduate teaching level of the Ministry of Education.


The school is located in Quzhou, a national historical and cultural city known as the "Holy Land of South Confucius". The campus covers an area of 704 acres, with a total school building area of 222,300 square meters, complete school facilities, supporting functions, advanced equipment, beautiful campus environment, and modern Breath. It has 1 provincial-level key laboratory and 4 provincial-level major scientific and technological innovation service platforms.
