Kunming Preschool Teachers College was established in February 2018. It is a public full-time general higher education school approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and approved by the Ministry of Education. It is supervised by the Kunming Municipal People's Government and its business is under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Education. The school implements the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the party committee. The school is located in the Songming Vocational Education Park in Kunming City. The campus covers an area of 525 acres and the school building area is 145,000 square meters. The initial investment is 780 million yuan. The training building, academic lecture hall, library, gymnasium, standard sports field, canteen, student dormitory and other high-standard infrastructures are equipped with more than ten kinds of full-featured on-campus experimental training rooms, and the total value of teaching equipment is more than 16 million yuan. The school currently has 121 full-time teachers, including 94 full-time teachers with a master's degree or above, 45 with associate titles or above, and 57 "dual-teacher" teachers.
