Yunnan Vocational College of Culture and Art is located at the foot of the scenic West Mountain in Kunming and on the bank of Dianchi Lake. Founded in 1956, it is now affiliated to the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education. It is the earliest provincial public art vocational college in Yunnan Province.
In May 2004, the college was renamed Yunnan Vocational College of Culture and Art.
