Yunnan Vocational College of Finance and Economics is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Yunnan Province Dingxin Primary Commercial Vocational School, which was founded in 1934. After the provincial Kunhua Senior Commercial Vocational School and Yunnan Finance and Economics School, it is now the only public higher finance and economics vocational college in Yunnan Province.
The school is located in the main urban area of Kunming, backed by the winding Chang Chong Mountain and adjacent to the beautiful Panlong River, with convenient transportation and superior conditions. The school headquarters covers an area of 252 acres, the school building area is 121,400 square meters, and the library has a collection of nearly 400,000 books; it has built a multi-functional comprehensive simulation training room for accounting, a comprehensive training room for marketing, a comprehensive training room for securities and finance, etc. 32 on-campus practical training bases, 102 off-campus practical training bases.
