Yunnan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College is located in the beautiful spring city of Kunming. The college has a history of nearly 50 years of running a school. On July 1, 2004, approved by the People’s Government of Yunnan Province and filed by the Ministry of Education, the college was renamed as: "Yunnan National Defense "Industrial Vocational and Technical College" is a full-time general higher vocational and technical college that has the characteristics of optics, mechanics, and electricity, and cultivates high-level applied-skilled talents that meet the front-line needs of manufacturing and information industries.
The college is located on Longquan Road, Beicheng District, Kunming City. There are more than a dozen colleges and universities and scientific research institutions gathered along the road.
