Qujing Normal University is located in the birthplace of the Pearl River, the third largest river in my country, the second largest city in Yunnan Province, the hometown of cuan culture, and the "Top Ten Livable Cities in China"-Qujing City. In June 2007, the school passed the evaluation of the undergraduate teaching level of the Ministry of Education with "good" results. In 2010, it became a high-quality university in Yunnan Province.    The school has a rich historical and cultural heritage. The school’s history can be traced back to the "Teaching Training Institute for Teachers’ Training" opened in 1907. In 1912, the Third Yunnan Provincial Normal School was established. In 1956, it was renamed Qujing Normal School. In 1977, it enrolled the Qujing Normal (Undergraduate) Class of Kunming Normal University, 1978. Qujing Teachers College was established in 1993 (renamed Qujing Teachers College in 1993), and Qujing Education College was established in 1984. With the approval of the Ministry of Education in March 2000, Qujing Teachers College, Qujing Education College, and Qujing Normal School merged to form Qujing Teachers College. Generations of composers have not forgotten their original aspirations, forged ahead, and formed the composer spirit of "bitterness and happiness blending and cultivating talents, and a century of fostering talents and souls".


   The quality of personnel training has been continuously improved. It recruits students from 26 provinces (cities, districts) across the country, and currently has more than 15,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students.    Discipline and specialty have distinctive characteristics. The school has 18 teaching units, 4 teaching auxiliary institutions, and 34 research institutions (including 5 school-level independent research institutions).
