Bayingoleng Vocational and Technical College

Bayingoleng Vocational and Technical College is the only higher education institution in Bazhou established on February 26, 2002 with the approval of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region. The college currently has 528 faculty members from seven ethnic groups, including Han, Mongolian, Uygur, and Hui, among which 398 are full-time teachers, including 201 bachelor degree holders, 114 senior professional and technical positions, and 43 “dual-qualified” teachers. There are more than 4800 students in school. The college currently has 10 departments (Economics and Management, Biological Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Art, Educational Science, Electronic Information Engineering, Tourism Economics, Petrochemical Engineering, Mineral Resources and Basic Course Teaching Department) , A total of 51 secondary vocational majors and 25 higher vocational majors have been opened.


After five years of development, the college now covers an area of 2,700 acres and has a total asset value of nearly 200 million. It has 2 teaching buildings, 1 training building, 1 distance education center, 1 administration building, and 6 student dormitories. , 2 student canteens, 3 faculty residential buildings, 1 garage, 1 student bathroom, the library is under construction, with a total construction area of 160,000 square meters.


   There are 528 faculty members in the college, including 210 full-time teachers and 130 retired faculty members. There are more than 4800 students in school. The college currently has 10 departments, with a total of 51 secondary vocational majors and 23 higher vocational majors. Over the past four years, more than 2,500 graduates have been trained, and more than 8,000 professional skills training and appraisal for adults and laid-off workers have been carried out, which has made certain contributions to the economic development of our state and the construction of new industrialization.


   Since the college moved to the new campus in February 2004, it has always focused on education and teaching and actively promoted various reforms. The college implements the “dean responsibility system under the leadership of the college’s party committee, the appointment system for deputy deans, the competitive recruitment of middle-level leaders, and the full employment of faculty and staff” mechanism. To achieve the goal of making the best use of their talents; taking the reform of the salary distribution system as a breakthrough, a scientific and reasonable salary distribution system was formulated, which fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the faculty and staff; the socialization of logistics reform was the focus, and the marketization of logistics services was accelerated In the process, the logistics management office of the college has fully realized the separation of the logistics entity and the administrative management of the college, and implemented corporate management; with education and teaching reform as the main body, the reform of "constructing a modern higher vocational education and teaching system that adapts to the socialist market economy system" is the main body. Guided by market demand and changes, scientifically and reasonably determine the professional setting and professional training objectives, talent training plan and talent training specifications, and improve the efficiency of vocational education; in the education and teaching reform, actively promote the credit system and leveled teaching, and change The subject-centered curriculum system is a skill-centered, position-centered and vocational qualification standard-centered curriculum system; the vocational qualification through train pilot program has been fully launched, and the vocational qualification certificate system has been actively implemented, and the vocational qualification standards have been compared with the current vocational qualification standards. The employment rate of graduates is in a good situation, with an employment rate of over 95%; the college has always taken the enrollment work as the leader and continuously expanded the scale of schooling. In 2003, the college recruited more than 900 new students from middle and high vocational schools. In 2004, it recruited 2,000 new students, and in 2005 it recruited new students. There are more than 2500 people. At present, the number of students in secondary and higher vocational schools in the college has reached 4,800, which has effectively promoted the expansion of the school's scale and laid a good foundation for further realizing the rapid development of the college.


   Since the establishment of the college, it has strengthened its ties with well-known vocational colleges at home and abroad. In 2003, the college signed a joint school agreement with Kyoto Minji Japanese Language School in Japan, Barry College in Denmark, Abbotsford College in Canada, and the Republic of Kalmykia in Russia. In 2004, it signed a joint school agreement with the Russian Federation Kalmykia, and the two sides established a long-term cooperative school-running relationship.


   In 2005, the college initially reached cooperation intentions with Hebei University and Hebei Normal University through negotiations. The two parties jointly set up professional disciplines, regularly conduct inter-school competitions and exchanges, and conduct joint research in the fields of talent training, team and discipline construction, establishment of employment bases, scientific research, and management exchanges. Both parties share the results of cooperative research and give full play to the two places. The resource advantage of the company realizes complementary advantages.


   In April 2006, the college and the Kyrgyz Republic signed a letter of intent for cooperation, and the two sides reached consensus on scientific research and teaching. In October, the college recruited 30 foreign students from the Kyrgyz Republic to study Chinese in our college for the first time, and the two sides established a long-term and stable cooperative relationship.


In 2007, the college will meet the evaluation and acceptance of the "High Vocational and Technical Personnel Training Level" of the Ministry of Education.
