1. College Overview


Xinjiang Construction Vocational and Technical College is a provincial, state-run, full-time higher vocational college approved by the People’s Government of the Autonomous Region and registered with the Ministry of Education. After graduating, students will be issued a graduation certificate electronically registered by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The college is a construction professional higher vocational college. It was formed by the merger of Xinjiang Construction Vocational University, Xinjiang Construction Engineering School, Xinjiang Urban Construction School, and Xinjiang Building Materials School. It is an architectural skill type approved by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Education. The training base for talents in short supply is the construction engineering training base of the autonomous region and the training base for earthquake-resistant and residential talents of the autonomous region. At present, the college offers a total of 24 majors. In 2009, the college launched the second round of teaching reform "work process-oriented". 4. Vocational training
