Ziyang Environmental Technology Vocational College is a full-time general higher education institution approved by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education and constructed in accordance with undergraduate standards. It is a governing unit of the China Eco-Environmental Industry and Education Alliance, a strategic emerging industry talent training base in Sichuan, and the only one in Southwest China. The college is located in Ziyang, a hub-type airport city in the Chengdu-Chongqing Double City Economic Circle, which is known as the "energy-saving capital and green city". It is an 8-minute drive from Tianfu International Airport and a 22-minute high-speed rail drive from downtown Chengdu. The college plans to cover an area of 1,200 acres, including 626 acres for the first phase of construction. The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with a complete "two mountains and one lake" ecosystem, complete various teaching facilities, high-standard apartment-style student dormitories equipped with air-conditioning and hot water supply, and a self-operated high-quality catering center. Up to now, the college has more than 4,800 students of various types, more than 230 faculty members, and strong faculty. The college adheres to innovation and leadership, and is committed to building an ecological and environmental protection technology research and development center, a large health technology achievement transformation center, an entrepreneurial business incubation center, and creating an internationally advanced and domestic first-class "Tianfu Ecological Environmental Technology Green Valley" and "Life Education and Health Promotion Center" . The college has a total of 61 training rooms for environmental protection, nursing, and fitness. Among them, the water environment pollution control laboratory tailored for the college by Professor Leo Groendijk from Marriott Laurentian University in the Netherlands is the water treatment laboratory with the largest number of equipment sets and types in colleges and universities in the country. It can well realize the combination of work and study, and the integration of teaching and learning. Nursing majors include maternal and child nursing, community nursing, elderly nursing, internal medicine nursing, surgical nursing, emergency nursing and other training centers; and China Fitness Team, Best The Fitness Research Institute cooperated to establish the largest professional fitness training center in the province.
