Sichuan Automobile Vocational and Technical College is a full-time private higher vocational college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is the only automotive higher vocational technical college in Sichuan Province. It is a national automobile training base, a national advanced unit of vocational education, a national vocational guidance teaching training experimental base, a national vocational skill appraisal institute, and a civilized unit of Sichuan Province. The college is located in Mianyang, China's science and technology city.
The college now covers an area of 436 acres. It has a fully functional teaching building, an advanced experimental training building, comfortable student apartments, a standard sports field, a standardized library, and excellent experimental training conditions. The college has more than 30 experimental training rooms represented by the automobile training center, school-run practice factories, and more than 20 off-campus practice bases.
The college currently has 206 full-time teachers, including 58 senior titles. Many of the teachers are academic leaders in Sichuan Province. It has a team of high-level and high-quality teachers. At the same time, the college is in undergraduate colleges, scientific research units, and large enterprises inside and outside the province. Many experts and scholars are also invited to teach in the school.
The college carries out teaching, teaching and research activities around the industrial chain of automobile manufacturing, parts processing, sales, and technical services. It pays special attention to the cultivation of student skills, and also pave the way for student employment. In addition to extensive contacts with Sichuan automobile manufacturing plants, large auto repair shops, and automobile 4S shops, it has also successively contacted the country’s largest heavy-duty truck production base-China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, and the country's largest light engine production base-Huarui Automobile Co., Ltd. , The top ten domestic automobile companies-Huaxin Automobile Co., Ltd. and many large-scale automobile companies cooperate in running schools, laying a solid foundation for the training of students' skills and employment.
