Neijiang Vocational and Technical College is the only municipal higher vocational college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education in April 2003, and organized by the Neijiang Municipal People's Government. The college has a history of running schools for more than 60 years and has accumulated rich resources and experience in running schools. It is a provincial-level exemplary higher vocational college. The new campus of the college is located at No. 1777, East Section of Han'an Avenue, Dongxing District, Neijiang City, with a total area of 830 acres and a planned construction area of 300,000 square meters. The total value of teaching equipment is 107.6 million yuan, and the fixed assets are 838.33 million yuan. The construction and use of the new campus has made the school run full of vitality.
Since the establishment of higher vocational education, the college has adhered to the direction of socialist education, fully implemented the party and the country's teaching policies, practiced the core values of socialism, and adhered to the school philosophy of "reliance on morality, education by profession, and special school". The college currently has six departments: Accounting Department, Art Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Construction Engineering Department, Agricultural Engineering Department (Biotechnology Department); one secondary college: E-commerce Management College; two departments: Quality Education Department , Technical secondary school. There are two teaching assistant departments, a book information center and a vocational skill appraisal station. A total of 52 majors were opened and 41 majors were enrolled throughout the year, realizing a seamless connection with the development of Neijiang's industry.
The college currently has 572 faculty members, 423 full-time and part-time teachers, including 9 professors, 106 associate professors, 116 with doctoral and master's degrees, 320 "dual teacher quality" teachers, and 1 "discipline leader in Neijiang" , "Neijiang City has outstanding contribution top talents" 3 people, "Neijiang City 4th Science and Technology Advisory Group consultant" 2 people.
The college currently has more than 10,000 students. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 96% in the past five years. A large number of graduates have quickly grown into corporate backbones, outstanding entrepreneurs and leaders at all levels.
The college has achieved fruitful scientific research results. In the past 5 years, teachers of the college have participated in 2 national-level scientific research projects, presided over 28 provincial-level projects, 41 municipal-level projects, and 177 college-level projects; teachers published a total of 1015 academic papers (among which, Peking University Chinese core and above papers 186 papers, 4 EI retrieved papers, 19 university journals); published 2 monographs, 49 textbooks, and 12 national patents; college teachers carried out "site-style" scientific research and social services, and expanded economic benefits for local economic development by thousands Ten thousand yuan.

The college has a special vocational skill appraisal station approved by the Ministry of Labor, and a vocational skill appraisal station approved by the Provincial Department of Labor of Neijiang Vocational and Technical College. It can carry out 60 vocational skill appraisal and qualification examinations. Students can participate in the school before graduation Skill level appraisal, obtained "double certificate".
