Sichuan Tianyi College was founded in 1991. Approved by the former State Education Commission in 1994, it became one of the first full-time private general colleges and universities in my country that recognized academic qualifications in Southwest China. In 2000, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, it cooperated with Chengdu University of Technology and Sichuan Normal University to run schools, and excellent students implemented inter-university undergraduate education. In 2000, it was approved by the Education Department of Sichuan Province to independently organize adult academic education. In 2002, recommended by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Australia and approved by the Ministry of Education, it cooperated with the Australian HOLMESGLEN College to organize higher education in China and Australia and study abroad education, recruiting students from all provinces and cities across the country.
The college has distinctive school-running characteristics, advocates innovative school-running thinking, and implements a brand-new school-running model. Under the efficient operation mechanism, scientific education concept, and market demand-oriented, the school has achieved outstanding results in the past ten years, and has cultivated a large number of students. Qualified graduates with high political quality, good ideological and moral character, academic merit, and strong comprehensive ability. At present, most of them have become the backbone of their units and have won wide recognition and reuse from nearly 300 foreign-funded, Sino-foreign joint ventures and well-known private (private) enterprises inside and outside the province.
The college is located in Chengdu City (No. 116 Wenjing Road, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, the southwestern political, economic, cultural, and transportation center). It has two campuses in the north and south, covering an area of more than 500 acres, which can accommodate 15,000 people at the same time; it has a relatively perfect teaching Equipment and life service facilities, with a high-end computer room with a total of more than 500 computers; Sichuan province and the national computer rank examination base, a national information technology and distance training education base; an electronic information technology, communication laboratory 5 There are a number of student practice factories; the modern language room, library, plastic sports field, etc. can meet the needs of students at school, and it is an ideal place for students of Guangxi University to study and become talents.
The college always adheres to the school-running philosophy of "quality school and steady development", and puts the construction of high-standard teachers in the first place. In the past ten years, it has established a team of more than 430 full-time and part-time faculty members with a "dual teacher" type. There are currently more than 10 well-known academic leaders, 5 foreign teachers, and more than 70 full-time and associate professors in the province. In June 2000, a group of 7 people from the Ministry of Education's Teachers Research Group came to our college to conduct research and gave a high evaluation of the status of our college's teachers. More than 45% of the class teachers have senior professional titles. In addition to its own faculty, the college also specially hires well-known university professors, experts, scholars and subject leaders to form a stronger faculty team, and unswervingly follow the path of expert governance. Resolutely set market demand-oriented majors that are in urgent need of the brand in the future, cooperate with well-known domestic and foreign companies and universities in running majors, jointly open courses, and jointly promote employment, and focus on the forging and training of students' comprehensive quality and practical skills. The quality of teaching ranks among the provinces for consecutive years. Among the top universities of its kind, the faculty resources rank seventh among more than 1,000 non-key universities nationwide ("China Youth Daily" 2000.6.8), making it a leader among private colleges and universities in the country.
