Leshan Vocational and Technical College is located between the world cultural and natural heritage of Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei. It is located on the bank of Qingyi River in Suji New District, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, a famous historical and cultural city. The college covers an area of 800 acres and currently has more than 600 faculty members, including 517 full-time teachers, 41 professors, and 145 associate professors. Among the higher vocational colleges in Sichuan Province, the college first recruited foreign students with academic qualifications. Since 2011, it has recruited students from Thailand, Laos, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Vietnam, Turkey, Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia, and Angola. In October 2017, the college moved into a new campus covering an area of 800 acres, with advanced design and complete functions, "green, smart, and safe", with a beautiful campus environment and advanced facilities and equipment. It has the first water-source heat pump air-conditioning system in colleges and universities in the province, the whole school is air-conditioned, and the student dormitory provides 24-hour hot water. The student dormitory is equipped with 6-bed rooms and separate toilets.
