Founded in 1963, Sichuan Vocational College of Finance and Economics is affiliated to the Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance. It is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a provincial-level exemplary higher vocational college and is a national financial vocational education. Member unit of the Teaching Steering Committee, the lead unit of the Sichuan Finance and Economics Vocational Education Alliance, the Sichuan National Civil Service Training and Teaching Institution and the Sichuan Provincial Financial System Cadre Continuing Education Training Base.
Sichuan Vocational College of Finance and Economics is located in Longquanyi, Tianfu New District, Chengdu. There are currently more than 6000 full-time students, nearly 500,000 paper books, 71 modern training rooms on campus, and classrooms and training rooms are equipped with multimedia and air conditioning. Its practical teaching conditions are at the leading level among financial colleges and universities in the country. The college currently has 482 faculty members, among which 24.15% are teachers with senior professional titles, 74.57% are with doctorate and master degrees, and 63.56% are teachers with "dual-teacher" qualities among professional course teachers. The faculty of the college has solid basic theory, outstanding practical ability, high teaching level, and strong scientific research ability.
