Sichuan Conservatory of Music, whose predecessor was the "Sichuan Provincial Experimental School of Drama Education" established in 1939, has experienced the "Sichuan Provincial Experimental Music School", "Sichuan Provincial Technical College", and "Sichuan Provincial College of Art". , "Chengdu College of Art", "Southwest Music College" and other periods, in 1959 approved by the Ministry of Education, became one of the six professional music academies with undergraduate level in China at that time.
