Chengdu Medical College was formerly known as the Chengdu Military Medical College of the Third Military Medical University. It was established in 1947 and transferred to Sichuan Province in 2004. It is an undergraduate medical college integrating teaching, scientific research and medical treatment. The school covers an area of more than 1,500 acres, and currently has more than 13,500 full-time masters and undergraduate students.
