The predecessor of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China was the Aviation School of the Civil Aviation Administration of China. After 48 years of ups and downs, the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China has accumulated rich experience in running a school. It has nearly 500 rigorous and skilled flight and other professional teachers. Among them, flight teaching is 2500 hours. The above-mentioned all-weather flight instructors exceed 100. Among this excellent team of teachers, some have won the title of Meritorious Pilot awarded by the state, and some have won gold, silver, and bronze medals for safe flight. The college has 4 flight training branches at the deputy director-general level in Xinjin, Guanghan, Mianyang, and Luoyang City, Henan Province, and 5 affiliated airports with complete facilities for flight teaching and training. In order to ensure flight safety and teaching quality, the college also has an aircraft repair shop and two air stations in Suining and Luoyang that provide services for transfer flight training. As early as the middle and late last century, the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China began to accept foreign students sent by foreign governments. The first batch of students studying in the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China were 10 Vietnamese students who started flying training on June 1, 1962.
