School Profile


Chengdu College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education. It was established by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Chengdu Guoteng Industrial Group.


The school was founded in 2001 and now has 7 colleges, more than 60 majors, and more than 17,000 students. The school's majors are mainly engineering and management, with electronic information and computer majors as the core, covering science, engineering, economics, management, literature, art, sports, design and aviation and other multi-disciplinary categories.


The school has two campuses, Chengdu campus and Shifang campus. Among them, the Chengdu campus is located in the high-tech west district of Chengdu, a national high-tech industrial development zone where IT and electronics companies gather. The Shifang campus is located in Shifang City, a historical and cultural city in Sichuan Province with beautiful environment and convenient transportation.


Based in Chengdu, the school radiates across the country, with the goal of building a high-level university of applied science and technology that is satisfied by the people, recognized by the society, and sustained development. History


On July 16, 2001, the Guoteng Software College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China was established.


On September 13, 2001, the Guoteng Software College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China officially opened.


In May 2002, the Guoteng Microelectronics College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China was established.


On July 14, 2003, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Guoteng School of Software and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Guoteng School of Microelectronics merged to form the "University of Electronic Science and Technology of China Guoteng College".


On February 23, 2004, the Guoteng College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China was renamed as Chengdu College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and was recognized as an independent college by the Ministry of Education.
