Ankang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college established by the People's Government of Ankang City and approved by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province.



The school has a long history. The school’s history can be traced back to the Guannan Academy in 1905. The Xing’an branch of the former Ankang Normal School was the first red revolutionary organization in Ankang. The college was formed in 2004 by the merger of Ankang Normal School, Ankang Hygiene School, and Ankang Second Normal School. Ankang Hygiene School was founded in 1960, and Ankang No. 2 Normal School was founded in 1985.
