Xinghua College of Chang'an University was approved by the Ministry of Education (Jiaofahan [2006] No. 72). It is a full-time general undergraduate independent college co-organized by Chang'an University as the sponsor, combined with the social school partner Shaanxi Dade Education Industry Development Co., Ltd. as the investor, and in accordance with the new mechanism and new model.
The college relies on the national "211 Project" and "985 Project" superior discipline creation platform-Chang'an University's high-quality brand resources, adhering to the discipline and professional advantages of Chang'an University, setting up majors according to the needs of social and regional economic development for talents, and opening civil engineering (Highway and bridge direction, industrial and civil construction direction), architecture, mechanical design and manufacturing and its automation (vehicle engineering direction), electrical engineering and its automation, etc. All majors have distinctive features, strong competitiveness, and all have the right to confer bachelor's degrees.
The college insists on educating people, focusing on quality, emphasizing ability, and highlighting characteristics. College leaders, teaching directors, and class teachers are mainly selected from Chang'an University, with professional academic leaders as the leader and backbone teachers as the core, forming an excellent team of full-time and part-time teachers to ensure the quality of talent training.
