【School History】It has a long history of running a school. Its predecessor was the Shaanxi Institute of Education. It was established in 1963 by the merger of Xi'an Normal School of Shaanxi Province (established in 1906) and Shaanxi Teachers' Training School (established in 1956). In March 2012, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, it was renamed as Shaanxi Preschool Teachers College.
