1. Historical evolution



Qufu Far East Vocational and Technical College is a general university established in July 1998.



In June 1999, with the approval of the provincial government, the Far East Institute of Business and Foreign Languages was established in cooperation with Shandong Agricultural University.



In October 2000, Qufu Far East Vocational and Technical College was established with the approval of the provincial government and the record of the Ministry of Education.



In July 2016, the college set up a branch campus in Zoucheng Vocational Education Park, the hometown of Mencius, covering an area of more than 400 acres. In August 2020, it plans to open the new campus of Qufu High-speed Railway.



In August 2016, Qufu Far East Vocational and Technical College established the College of Culture and Education, and began to recruit normal students, becoming one of the 53 higher education institutions in Shandong Province that train normal students.
