Shandong Vocational University of Foreign Affairs is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in 1999. In July 2004, approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province and filed by the Ministry of Education, it was transformed into Shandong Vocational College of Foreign Affairs Translation and became a full-time general higher vocational college. In December 2018, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. In May 2019, it was renamed Shandong Vocational University of Foreign Affairs. Li Zhaoxing, former director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress and former minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is the honorary principal of our school.
Since its establishment, the school has been adhering to the school motto of "Integration of Chinese and Western, Unity of Knowledge and Action", pioneering and forging ahead. At present, the school has two campuses in Weihai and Jinan, covering an area of 1752.4 acres and a building area of 444,000 square meters.
