Shandong Foreign Languages Vocational and Technical University is an undergraduate vocational school organized by Shandong Huaxin Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. It was founded in 2005 and formerly known as Shandong Foreign Languages Vocational College. The school was upgraded to a vocational undergraduate school approved by the Ministry of Education in December 2018, and was renamed "Shandong Foreign Language Vocational and Technical University" in May 2019, becoming one of the first batch of undergraduate-level vocational schools in the country. Mr. Ding Zhaozhong, a world-renowned physicist and Nobel Prize winner, is the honorary principal of the school.
