Shandong Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1958 and is the only sports college in Shandong Province.
The school has two campuses, Jinan (headquarters) and Rizhao, with a total area of 2,060 acres, a building area of 560,000 square meters, and various training venues of 164,100 square meters.
